Labor Day BBQ has always been a fun tradition. Lately, though, I am even more enamored of the event because 1. I don't have to prepare all the food myself 2. The cute kids participating are my adorable grandchildren 3. The recreational part of the day has moved to the nearby park = less work, more fun.
I love adult chat with my grown children. I love watching my husband play 'grandpa.' And I love seeing my grandkids enjoy each other. Not to mention the great food, pleasant weather and party atmosphere. Doesn't get much better than this.
